Celebrating This Year’s Activate Customer Award Winners and Details for Next Conference

mPulse is proud to announce the winners of the Activate2025 Awards, which honor healthcare stakeholders who have demonstrated exceptional success in advancing health equity, improving consumer experience, and achieving significant health outcomes. The winners were celebrated at Activate2025, the healthcare industry’s premier conference focused on cutting-edge engagement strategies for consumer health activation, which was held earlier this fall.

This year’s awards participants include health plans and healthcare organizations using mPulse’s digital engagement solutions to address key healthcare challenges, ranging from closing care gaps to enrollment reconciliation optimization. Each submission was evaluated on qualitative and quantitative outcomes in categories such as achieving health equity, most improved consumer experience, and biggest impact on business goals. Listed below are the Activate2025 Award winners for each award category, including the results of their winning submissions.

Most Innovative Solution Award Winner: Regional Health Plan

A Puerto Rico-based plan with over 500,000 members, leveraged mPulse’s predictive analytics capabilities, which harnesses models to identify members with rising health risk signals and then connect them to care programs aligned to their needs. The solution not only strengthens provider multidisciplinary patient-centered and vendor collaboration, but also helps improve the quality of care, outcomes and members experience.

Achieving Care Collaboration Award Winner: Dental Insurance Plan

A leading dental health plan providing coverage to hundreds of thousands of members across 20 states partnered with mPulse to advance reconciliation accuracy to strengthen collaboration across systems, providers, and stakeholders.

The plan achieved a 99%-member matching rate, one of the lowest discrepancy scores in the industry. In the state of Washington, they reached a 100% full carrier audit score, the first company to ever score 100%.

Overall, the program saw measurable efficiency gains through increased automation and reduced staff burden.

Achieving Health Equity Award Winner: Regional Health Plan

A regional health plan operating in over 15 states implemented an interactive multi-lingual engagement program to support access to preventive care, immunizations, and condition management. The program engaged members across SMS, IVR, and email and included details on benefits, value-added services, resources, and educational materials.

Across a diverse patient population, the program achieved strong engagement rates, ranging from 20–29% engagement via text, 29–72% via email, and 42–69% via IVR, while also connecting members to providers, resources, and care programs.

Biggest Impact on Health Outcomes Award Winner: National Managed Health Company

A national managed health company with more than 1.5M care professionals collaborated with mPulse to develop a broad engagement program, designed to have engagement touchpoints sent from the member’s primary care provider. The program leveraged the trusted relationship between the member and the provider to emphasize the importance of closing gaps in care.

The program generated significant improvements where the targeted members were compared to other plans with standard forms of outreach. Examples include a 3x bigger AAP completion rate, a 6x higher CBP completion rate, and 7x AWV completion rate.

Activate will shift to a spring schedule in 2027 to better accommodate partners. As mPulse works to create an immersive environment for exploring innovative technology, novel data, and creative digital content, the team is evolving the conference to meet the future of HXI. To do so, mPulse is taking Activate2027 to Denver, Colorado, from Monday, May 3, to Wednesday, May 5, 2027. As part of this transition, the national event will pause in 2026. However, to ensure there is no lapse in opportunities to learn from thought leaders or workshop ideas in 2026, mPulse will be hosting regional events, along with producing an earned content series, allowing partners to continue disrupting the status quo and reaching new levels of performance. “Activate2025 pushed the limits on exploring the conversations around trust for improved consumer experience and outcomes. From AI, regulatory updates, and real-world success stories, including those from the award winners above, attendees walked away with actionable steps to drive real impact. As the industry’s HXI leader, mPulse is taking time to expand programing, deepen its reach, and further networking opportunities for our annual event. We are eager to welcome partners and industry leaders to Activate2027 in Denver and until then, keep connected with exclusive programming in 2026.”

Again, congratulations to this year’s winners, we are honored to work alongside to advance health equity, improve consumer experience, and achieve significant health outcomes. We can’t wait to see you at regional events next year and at Activate2027 in Denver
